OUR MISSION

Members of the Garrett County Republican
Central Committee are duly elected to represent
the interests of the enrolled Republicans of Garrett County.
We encourage citizen participation in the political process
and work to elect honest candidates who are fiscally
conservative, support constitutional rights, and stand for
the values and principles that promote independence,
liberty and freedom.

It is the obligation of the committee to abide by and
follow the constitution and bylaws of the Maryland Republican
Party and to promote, at the local level, the ideals, principles
and philosophy of the Republican National Committee.
In order to do so, we recognize our primary role as the need to
pursue, nominate and support candidates for public office
who can agree with, support and defend the principles and
platform as defined by the state and national parties.

The committee seeks to register new voters as Republicans
and to encourage those already registered otherwise to
change the registration to the Republican party. In order
to do so we provide opportunities to educate the electorate
through political events and forums.
